My Story

Cliff’s Notes Version:

The child of two college professors, who loves the ocean, ends up getting a job as a Resident Assistant at UCSB and ends up walking away from his dream of being the next Jacques Cousteau and chooses a lifetime in Multifamily instead.

Along the way, he meets the love of his life and has two amazing boys (now men with amazing significant others).  Then they go through a 4-year period of hell.

What I refer to as ‘The Timeline of Suck’

Brain tumor scares.  Near death experiences.  Breast Cancer battles.   Depression.

Fun times.

However, the story has a happy back half.

It is a story of family triumph.  Of professional achievement.  Of taking advantage of opportunity by showing up with authenticity and transparency.  Of not being afraid to think differently.

And one I am dedicated to sharing the lessons learned with whomever will listen.
